FOUNDER

Anshu Khanna is a well known columnist, author, publicist, festival curator and heritage revivalist. She has written extensively on wide ranging subjects including leadership profiles, retail, art, culture, design and education. Starting her career in 1989 in the editorial office of Savvy in Mumbai, she was lead the Delhi Bureau of Magna Publishing, writing for India’s first set of glossies namely Society, Savvy, Stardust, Island, Health & Nutrition etc. She joined The Asian Age in 1993 as their Consultant Features Editor bringing lifestyle and fashion to the format of a Sunday Supplement.

She founded Goodword Media Services Pvt. Ltd. In 1993. A pioneer in lifestyle, she saw the wave of new age retail, luxury, lifestyle come alive. Personally inclined towards art, culture and books she started working with leaders in this realm. Content driven and a true story teller she is known for creating unique campaigns for her clients.

Her biggest contribution to Indian heritage is that she founded a respected and authentic platform that showcases our regal history called Royal Fables. Under this umbrella she has single handily helped bring alive the Palace Karkhana culture wherein royal scions work with local master weavers, artists and craftsmen. An endeavour for which she was awarded the Nari Shakti Puraskar , the highest civilian honour accorded to women in India by our honourable President in 2018.

She has authored the biography of J. C. Chaudhry, Founder Aaakash Tutorials a company that got recently acquired by Byjus and is presently authoring a history lead book on Princely India.

CO FOUNDER

Co founder Varun Khanna is a seasoned trade analyst, researcher and management professional who ensures the agency continues to smoothly service its client. Flagging off his career with the then nascent education platform NIIT, he worked with a wide variety of private enterprises before joining AEPC, the apex body for garment export. As a senior government official he ensured the Indian exporter enjoyed the government’s promise of ease of business.

He joined Pearl global, a leader in the export of fashion and helmed their shipments division as the General Manager. He went on to join NCTI (National Centre of Trade Information) as General Manager. Set up by Ministry of Commerce and Industry to create institutional mechanism for collection and dissemination of trade data and for improvement of business information services, NCTI was responsible for collating priceless trade data on various industries.

At Goodword Varun wears his management hat, hiring resources, setting SOPs and assigning KRA to the employees.
